The committee sets the strategic objectives and editorial calendar for the organization. The committee sets the tone of voice for the organization. Includes Content Magazine, deciding upon topics/themes/interviewees.

The membership committee has three purposes:
1. Retention: To focus on current membership - the benefits The Content Council has to offer and how to improve the value of the organization in order to retain members.
2. Acquisition: To target new members who fall under ‘custom content providers’ and ‘preferred partners’ provision. Also to discuss how best to broaden/diversify the membership.
3. Reviews Membership Communications

The Pearl Awards showcase excellence in content marketing around the world. The committee designs the Pearl Awards program and helps organize the awards ceremony.
PR AND MARKETING COMMITTEE

The PR Committee continues to build awareness about the organization within the industry.
Chair - Beth Tomkiw, Chief Content Officer, Manifest
The committee follows the trends and developments within the content marketing industry as well as commissioning independent reports and studies into the medium to provide key insights in order to position The Content Council as the definitive source of information about the industry and to help members strengthen their new business proposition.
Chair - John Cimba, President & CEO, GLC Custom Media
Develops and implements a strategy to secure general one-off event sponsorships and ongoing relationships with preferred partners.
