Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Independent Community Bankers of America
Chris Lorence is executive vice president and chief marketing officer. His duties include oversight and management of the organizations marketing and communications department, which includes political advocacy, social media integration, press relations, and brand management. Lorence is also responsible for the organization’s flagship award winning national magazine, Independent Banker® and four other strategically aligned membership and industry publications. As a member of the senior executive team, Lorence works with management and staff to both help create and bring to life the organizations strategic vision and initiatives.
Lorence was named one of the Top 50 CMO’s in social media by Forbes magazine in 2014. Before coming to ICBA, Lorence was chief operating officer of a community based financial organization and has more than 20 years of senior management experience within the financial community.
