In an increasingly competitive and challenging environment for educational funding, and with sophisticated and nuanced stories to tell, schools are discovering that effective content marketing can be a game changer. In 2016, The Food Institute at the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada, secured a $77-million government grant after launching a content program designed by St. Joseph Communications. The program, the 2016 Pearl Award Winner for Best in Education, combined content creation, the design of a new digital platform and a social media strategy, built to serve for both short- and long-term goals. Working with key staff and faculty, it focused on securing the funding, and also its vision to transform Guelph into the Silicon Valley of Food.
The Content Council will host St. Joseph's Vice President of Strategic Development, Duncan Clark, and other architects of the program, who will discuss its strategy, design and execution, and offer key takeaways for other institutions. The webinar will be moderated by Andy Seibert, Managing Partner, Imprint and Immediate Past Chair, The Content Council.
