
The Content Council Announces The 2018 Pearl Award Winners

NEW YORK, NY (December 7, 2018)— The Content Council, the leading organization representing content marketers globally, presented the 2018 Pearl Awards on December 7 during its winter conference, presented by Good Housekeeping, at the Hearst Tower in New York City. Ninety five companies, representing 153 different brands from across 21 countries gathered for The Pearl Awards, the longest running content marketing awards program in the United States, to celebrate the best in content marketing during an afternoon reception emceed by Timi Lewis, principal of Lewis Media Company.
“This year’s Pearl Awards entries represented the best in content marketing from around the globe,” said Jacqueline Loch, Chair of The Content Council. “We are proud to celebrate and honor their excellence in content marketing across a wide variety of industry sectors and media platforms that build the foundation for leading edge content marketing and media strategies.”
Experts judged entries from leading brands, publishers and agencies on overall effectiveness, creativity and editorial excellence. In addition to recognizing companies and brands, The Pearl Awards also recognizes the personal achievements of several remarkable content marketing professionals. This year’s individual award winners include:

As part of the winter conference and award ceremony, The Content Council also incorporated a vibrant group of speakers and panelists who addressed the risks and rewards of content marketing excellence. Leaders from Citi, Country Living, Delish.com, L’Oréal Paris and Pfizer, among others, provided their perspective on how to create award-winning content in an ever evolving industry.
