Theresa McDonnell is Director Digital Engagement and PR for Unilever North America. Her team is responsible for identifying best practices that maximize the potential for earned media in a brand’s content strategy. This includes constantly testing disruptive models for production, partnerships and influencer relations. The team manages relationships with all PR, Social and Digital agencies. They are also responsible for brand reputation management and issues management.
Prior to Unilever, Theresa counseled clients at agencies on new product positioning, brand reputation management, consumer engagement and strategic partnerships. She has deep experience in developing integrated marketing programs for world-class brands, including Target, Dove, Skype, Pepsi, Conair, HP, Schick, Barilla, and Heinz.
Theresa graduated magna cum laude from The Catholic University of America. She studied International Politics and competed on the varsity swim team. She lives in Montclair, NJ with her husband and two sons.
