Sheryl Victor Levy

Sheryl Victor Levy, is Vice President, Marketing and Communications for the Museum of the City of New York (MCNY) overseeing: branding, public relations, marketing, digital installations and strategy, paid media, visitor experience, custom experiences and tourism. Prior to MCNY, Sheryl was Senior Director of Digital Strategy for Phil & Co., a leading cause marketing firm in Manhattan working with nonprofits, philanthropies and companies doing good including: Brookfield Office Properties, Carnegie Corporation, Cablevision, Museum of the City of New York, Planned Parenthood of New York, YWCA, and the United Nations Foundation.
With over 15 years-experience on the agency and brand side, Sheryl spent the first part of her career leading marketing and licensing for MTV, VH1, Universal and Hearst. She has also held marketing strategy positions at Webex and USA Networks.
Sheryl is an accomplished public speaker, instructor at New York University, and board member of New York Women in Communications. Sheryl holds a B.S. from the Roy H. Park School of Communications at Ithaca College.
