International ICMF Survey 2016 on Content Marketing
This year's international study on content marketing, which is the
second of its kind, was commissioned by the International Content Marketing Forum
(ICMF) – the
international network of national content marketing associations. As in 2015, it was
carried out by the Swiss market research institute zehnvier research & strategy
under the leadership
of Professor Clemens Koob. The concept of the study is based on the annual studies
carried out by the Content Marketing Forum (CMF), member of ICMF and transnational
association for Germany,
Austria and Switzerland.
The nine countries included in this year's ICMF study are: Austria, Croatia, Denmark, Germany, Norway, Poland, Slovenia, Switzerland and the USA.
The Content Council Research 2015
The Content Council’s latest research study, conducted
in conjunction with the leading global source of news, intelligence and
conversations for marketing and media
communities, Advertising Age, centered on the state of the content marketing
industry’s past, present and future. The full study is
available to members by logging into the
members-only section of the website, and is available for purchase
to non-members for $800. Please contact Gemma
Rainer for further information.
Content’s caliber is evident by the volume of respondents from agencies,
marketing and media who answered favorably regarding the importance and influence
that content marketing has on
the industry.
Among the many compelling findings, the research revealed an increased level of
confidence in measuring content marketing success and ROI; however, the debate is
still hot on the most
efficient system for measurement. The research shows the average percentage of
marketing budgets allocated to content marketing has increased by more than 10
percent over the past two years,
and is projected to continue to increase at this rate over the next two, making
content a heavy priority across the industry.
