Committees
MARKETING AND PROMOTION
The function of the Strategic Initiatives Committee is to create a cohesive strategy throughout our content – whether in-person events, awards, webinars or our written material. The Marketing and Promotion Committee will ensure that our external facing content shares the same goals. Within the Marketing and Promotion Committee sits three sub-committees:
Events Committee
Chair – Brandon Kirk
The committee manages the annual webinar program, finalizes Pearl Award categories
and designs the annual conference program and Pearl Awards ceremony.
Communications Committee
Co-Chairs – Zack Bryant and Joe Stella
The committee sets the strategic objectives and editorial calendar for the
organization. The committee sets the tone of voice for the organization and
decides upon
topics/themes/interviewees for original content.
Influencer Initiative Committee
Co-Chairs - Randi Liodice and Duncan Milne
MEMBERSHIP
The function of the Membership Committee is twofold – to
ensure that current members understand the benefits of the organization and to
acquire new members. The
committee will be split into two sub-committees:
Membership Acquisition Committee
Co-chairs – Andy Seibert and James
Beechinor-Collins
The committee works to create a strategy around targeting new members and
diversifying the membership.
Member Retention
Co-Chairs – Andy Seibert and Joe Stella
The committee will focus on member retention by reviewing the benefits the
organization has to offer, as well as talking to members to understand what
they’re expecting from their
membership and how we can better deliver on their expectations.
Strategic Partnerships and Sponsorship Committee
Chair – James Beechinor-Collins
The committee develops and implements a strategy to secure paid sponsorship of the
conference and Pearl Awards, as well as to create ongoing relationships with
preferred media partners to
increase the visibility and reach of the organization.
RESEARCH – Co-Chairs – Georgia
Galanoudis and Paul Tsigrikes
The committee follows the trends and developments within the content marketing
industry as well as commissioning independent reports and studies into the medium to
provide key insights in
order to position The Content Council as the definitive source of information about
the industry and to help members strengthen their new business proposition.
We welcome member participation in the committees. If you are interested in sitting on any of the committees please contact Gemma Rainer.
